Dictator Simulator: 1984 is a unique simulation game where you play as a dictator ruling a fictional country in a setting inspired by the year 1984 – a time of Cold War, tense politics and a surveillance society. The game is dark, satirical and reminiscent of George Orwell's novel "1984". You will make brutal or strategic decisions to maintain power, control the population, suppress opposition and keep your dictatorship from collapsing.
In Dictator Simulator: 1984, players manage every aspect of a dictatorship: from censoring the media, spying on citizens, controlling the country's finances to issuing decrees and handling crises to starting politics. Each choice you make will affect a number of indicators such as military loyalty, public trust, international relations and the economy. Players need to balance those elements, while also eliminating all threats from inside and outside. The game takes place day by day and you can be alone at any time even if you lose control of the situation.
